Cute skirt for all the SSC fans out there. This skirt is as cute as can be. I used a vintage sheet in good condition. The first tier is lined in white cotton so you don't have to worry about see through. There are two additonal tiers which are trimmed with aqua blue bias binding. The drawstring waist is also of aqua and has a bit of elastic to keep it in place and plastic washable beads on the ends for an extra dose of "ain't it cuuuute!!!" Here is another skirt made from a vintage sheets. This time i used Care Bears. This skirt is lined at the first tier for no see through and has one deep tier. Pale blue binding, red rick/rack and a cute red and white polka dot grossgrain ribbon drawstring waist with elastic to keep it up and comfy and beads to make it cute. This skirt is adorable. I use a vintage novelty children's print in it's construction. This is a mid weight poplin fabric that has the cutest animals with the most adorable names all over. Names like Carolyn (lamb) Chip (a bird) John and Yoko (fish) Lorraine (pig) and many more. This skirt is drawstring and has big supa size velvety rick rack in lavender at the hem. This cute little skirt has a lot going on that may not be apparent at first glance. It is chocked full of gorgeous details that you tend to notice a little at a time. I used a blue plaid India gauze that I cut on the bias for the front of the skirt. That back is cut with the plaid running crosswise. There is a v-shaped yoke that is trimmed with black / white polka-dot ribbon. So cute. One tier of the plaid fabric with ribbon trim and another under tier of black luscious lace. There are floral lace cut-outs appliquéd on the yoke and at the hem, these have been embellished with crystals so they sparkle when you move. The back of the skirt is full and is gathered up to fit with elastic and the black dot ribbon, tie it in a cute and flirty bow and call it a day. Here is a funky skirt for the coming summer. This fabric is actual patchwork of lightweight denim and different india cottons with ethnic type designs in a sort of zig-zag design.There is narrow crochet trim in a cream color highlighting the patches. I purchased this fabric already patchwork so I didn't do the actual patching. This skirt is a-line with side zipper and darts and a small amount of elastic in the back to shape it to your curves. This is a fabulous skirt that you are sure to get lots of wear out of this summer. It is a style that I haven't done in a couple of years. This is one lovely skirt. Made from a vintage mid weight upholstery cotton fabric that has been washed and aged to a soft and faded beauty. You can wear this in all but the coldest climes. Would look so sweet with a red or cream sweater and boots this winter, then bring it through spring and summer with t-shirts and tank tops. This is another skirt that could go either casual or dressy, depending on how you pair it. It is a straight cut to the knee. Think Pink! I love this skirt, such a yummy soft hemp/cotton blend corduroy that I have dyed a lovely shade of candy pink. I scrunched the fabric a bit to get color variations throughout. This skirt will not fade or bleed as I used professional dyes. The skirt has 6 panels that are cut exaggerated flare below the knee for lots of swing at the bottom, form fitting at the top. This fits below the waist and the band is curved and trimmed in a fuzzy black chenille yarn. This skirt zips in the back. Whew! This lovely skirt took forever to patch together but it was worth the extra effort. It is fabulous! I cut and sewed each of the many many patches one at a time using a 5 thread chain stitched and serged seam so it is durable as all get out. It is fully lined in white cotton and has a side zip with tabs to adjust the fit should you so desire. I have used all different brown corduroys , there is at least 15 different fabrics in here, give or take a few :-). This skirt is cut to ride a bit below the waist at the hips, it skims the hips and finally flares out at the bottom. It is the perfect width for walking but not too wide to weigh you down since the fabric is heavy. This skirt is sure to keep you warm and stylish this winter. Measurements: Waist:

I just love this skirt! This has got to be the softest most luxurious corduroy I have ever felt in the most beautiful unique shade of mauve I have ever seen! I have cut the skirt a-line and low waisted (this sits about 1.5 inches below your natural waist) with a back center slot zipper and button tab closure. The back has one pocket. The front has a diagonal insert of tiny patchwork in several shades of purple corduroy and velvet. the patchwork panel is lined for your comfort. This skirt can take you places. It will look great for many occasions as it it not too far out or over the top. You will love it!

This skirt is so beautiful...it is hard to know where to start. It took days of cutting stitching and sewing and it turned out beautiful! I don't make this type of skirt very often because of the huge amount of time that goes into it. This is a wide and flowy wrap skirt made from the softest lightweight brushed cotton twill in a neutral khaki color. I have used mottled tye dye fabrics in pink, brown and olive green to construct the elaborate applique. The applique circles the entire skirt! There is one huge branch in the front /side and smaller individual buds and flowers along the bottom. The boder hem is also applique andforms a scallop. The appliques have embroidery detailing which you can see in the close up. The waist is a seperate v-shape yoke which has be embellished with brown rick rack The ties are lined in the pink fabric for a splash of color at the top.. Measurements: Waist:

This is a beautiful and comfortable knit skirt, it has been tie dyed in
shades of sage green and grey. The leave are natural ferns that have
been used as a stencil. They were airbrushed in black creating an outline
design. Very unique and funky. The waist is elastic and I have
trimmed the bottom in wide black lace that I left some of the netting on
the bottom for a more casual funky look. This skirt can take you

This skirt
is much more gorgeous than the pictures show. I have used a
beautiful hand dyed india cotton it has beautiful flowers and leafy vines
all over it! On the bolt it said vegetable dye so I am assuming it was
dyed with natural pigments. This was of course prewashed for you to
remove any excess dye. I have paired it with a lightweight denim.
The skirt is cut a-line and on the true bias of the cloth resulting in a
shapely silhouette. There is absolutely no bulk or gathers at the
top. The waist band and wrap ties are of the denim ending in the
cotton fabric, these ties are nice and long so you can make a pretty bow.
The bottom half of the skirt I used the denim again and appliqued vines,
carrying on the theme of the fabric. This skirt will take you
through the summer as it is very lightweight and comfy but with a change
of top you can go through the fall as well due to the rich coloration.
It layers well also, being a wrap and all. Measurements: Recommend size extra-small/medium hips up to 38 for best fit. Waist:

This a a beautiful skirt made from 100% hemp summer cloth (similar to linen) custom dyed a beautiful shade of terracotta. It reminds me of my pots when I have had them for many years and they have had a chance to fade. I have cut this skirt a-line for plenty of swing. The front is flat and has two pockets with embroidered mushroom on them. The back has a ribbon drawstring that is woven in and out and ties nicely in a bow in back.
