beautiful vintage
floral
velvety corduroy skirt 58.00 |
|

This item has been sold |
This skirt
is sooo beautiful. I have used some very vintage fabric in it's
construction. It is supa plush and rich looking. It is a cream color
with red and gold flowers on it with green leaves and brown vines
throughout. It doesn't have any ribs so it brings to mind velvet, it
may be velvet but is is so thick and plush that I think it may be a
rib-less cord. It is around 50 years old at least! It was made
from a vintage shabby chic table cloth and it is the only one that will
ever be made as I used all the fabric for it. The versatile skirt
can be dressed up or down depending on your day. It is so cuddly
soft and comfortable! You will love this one and the best thing
about it is that it is One of a Kind and you will never see another
anywhere!

GRATEFUL DEAD STEALIE
SKIRT
WITH LIGHTING BOLTS 100.00 |

This item has been sold |
Here is a skirt that is sure to get
you many many kompliments! Made especially for the die hard GD/TOO
fan! I have used a wale less black corduroy for the base of the
skirt. It is cut a-line for a little more swing at the bottom.
The side panels consist of bright blue and red corduroy (pinwale) with
white GD lightening bolts. One side is red at the top and blue at
the bottom, the other side is reverse. The highlight of this skirt
is the intricate grateful dead stealie appliqué on the pocket. It
took a long time to appliqué (as did the bolts) but as you can see it
makes this skirt a real winner. I got the idea from a sticker that I
saw. I embroidered the words Play Dead on each side of the stealie and
then appliquéd it all to a bright blue fully lined kangaroo pocket.
An elastic waist allows for a comfortable fit for many sizes.

recycled denim skirt &
corduroy
with tribal butterfly applique 50.00 |
|

This item has been sold |
Funky and stylish, two words that describe
this cute one of a kind skirt. I inserted four panels of tan
colored pinwale corduroy below hip level to add lots of swing at the
bottom line. The waistband was removed and I also added large belt
loops of the tan corduroy so you can wear one of the larger hip
slung belts with it (belt not included). I stitched around the waist
and hem with a black zigzag, this adds style and controls the fraying that
will occur when washed...it will only fray up to the stitching. The focal
point of this skirt is the tribal type appliqué on the front. It
consist of many pieces and is quite lovely. It is fused and tightly
satin stitched so it will stay with you forever...Skirt has been washed
after construction to start the fraying process, it will fray more with
each wash.

identical patchwork. The front is flat and the back has elastic.

recycled denim skirt &
corduroy
with swirl embroidery 80.00 |
|

this item has been sold |
Funky and stylish, two words that describe
this cute one of a kind skirt. I have used a pair or vintage
levi jeans, and many vibrant earthy colors of corduroy and this funky lil
skirt is the result. I used the top portion of the jeans and cut the front
in a v-shape, preserving the pocket and embroidered two swirls on each
side in shiny burgundy thread. The back is the top portion of the
jeans and I also kept the pockets and the original leather levi tab. The
skirt is cut a-line for plenty of movement.
This skirt was made from a pair of size 10
levis.

beautiful Seminole
patchwork
corduroy skirt 80.00 |

Here is a beautiful skirt that will see you
through many occasions with flair. I have used the most beautiful
feather wale printed corduroy fabric and a beautiful soft tan
colored pinwale corduroy and a rich earthy rust corduroy in its construction. This skirt is quite
lovely in its' simplicity. Four Seminole bands and four panels make
up the body of this skirt, with striping between the bands. It is a very subtle design but quite effective.
It has a separate corduroy waistband that has a drawstring to adjust the
fit to meet your sizing requirements. A ruffle of the pinwale
corduroy finishes it off and add weight at the bottom hem so it hangs
nicely.
