Another funky one of a kind skirt from recycled jeans. I have added panels of tan corduroy and an applique of 3 stylized lotus blooms. There is a rust inset at the pocket and a flirty rust ruffle at the bottom. Yep, another recyled skirt. This time from a pair of vintage levi's size 9. A vintage 9, check garment measurements. I love this style is is very graceful so I will probably use it quite often. This one is too cool. It is so mellow, I have used all different shades and wales in this one, some colors are tan, light beige, grey blues , lavender and the sage green is actually a hemp linen. On the top portion I embroidered a funky paisley flower design that I embellished with rhinestones for a bit of sparkle. All in all this is a beautiful skirt and will give you much wearing pleasure! Zipper Front Skirt is not crooked, model is standing with her hip shifted. Measurements: Waist: 28

This beautiful one of a kind skirt fits all my requirements. It's purty, it's comfy and it's easy care. This skirt is great casual or it can go a bit dressy because of the velvet. It look great with the tie front velvet vest that is available seperately. This skirt is made from recycled denim jeans and plush soft black cotton velvet printed with azure blue flowers that can be washed without a care. The flirty ruffle adds weight and movement. I love this warm and cozy skirt. It is of course one of a kind. I used two different lightweight corduroys in it's construction. It has center front and back panels of tan corduroy and side panels of rust corduroy. Panels are a-line. I have inserted zigzag piping in gorgeous shade of blue between the seams. On the front is a beautiful butterfly appliqué using several shades of batik fabric. The back holds it own with two rust completely lined patch pockets that have been trimmed in a wonderful faux suede ribbon that has been embroidered with butterflies and the same blue trim used for the seams. As if that wasn't stylie enough, you have double belt loops and a long corduroy skinny sash that you can wrap at your waist of hips as you see fit. One sizes fits small-large but please check the measurements to determine suitability. Measurements: Waist: 30

This is a fabulous unique skirt. I have used a vintage batik fabric in browns and cream vines and flowers in the side panel and for the vine appliques. The main body of the skirt is a deep rich denim. It is very lightweight. I used a brown pinwale corduroy that coordinates with the batik for the curved strip panels. I appliqued leafy vines on each strip and on the two back pockets. There is a lotus flower appliqued on the center panel. The back is denim with a narrow center panel of the batik fabric with a band of corduroy with a vine at the bottom. The waist is bound with the batik fabric. The skirt laces in the back with eyelets and brown leather lacing. The waist has a bit of elastic in the back to accommodate the smaller sizes. This is a wide and flowy skirt. Measurements: Waist: |

Here is a funky and unusual jean skirt. It is a revamped pair of natural jeans. These were victoria secret brand moda international jeans in new condition. I have revamped them into this funky one of a kind skirt using all vintage fabrics from the 1920's and 1930's. The fabric patchwork is clamshell shaped which was pieced by hand by some patient person way back when.. I backed it with muslin and satin stitched over each clamshell shape to quilt the fabric together. This adds body to the cloth and insures that it won't come undone as well as brings it closer to the weight of the jeans. I added the same patchwork to one front yoke pocket and to the back yoke. I used individual clam shapes to form funky oriental looking flower and used bias trim for the stems. The waist has been removed and I appliqed pinkish looking bias binding and formed ties. OK Now! This is the cutest skirt ever! It can take you anywhere and get you noticed! I have used a vintage oshkoshbgosh fabric. I purchased this about 15 years ago and never got around to using it. It is the same engineering stripe denim used in their overalls! I have cut this with the stripes running diagonally (on the bias) for incredible movement at the bottom and absolute smooth fitting at the waist and hips. This skirt wraps and ties in the front and is bound all around in the cutest red vintage cotton. The tie is also of the same red cotton. The flowers are various fabrics, calico, corduroys, hemp, vintage prints etc. The overlap each other and I stitched them on using an old fashioned looking blanket stitch to give the skirt a real retro flavor.
